Wes Stuart, BA, LDO
Licensed Optician
Wes got his start in the optical industry in the year 2000. He graduated with his Bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and has completed additional coursework in the Optical Management program at Hillsborough Community College. He also obtained his national certifications from the American Board of Opticianry (ABO), the National Contact Lens Examiners (NCLE) and the American Optometric Association as a Certified Paraoptometric (CPO). Wes is a Florida licensed Board-Certified Optician and is licensed in Georgia also. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Professional Opticians of Florida (POF) and is very active in the local Central Florida POF chapter. Wes has many years of experience in different areas of the optical industry including retail optical, wholesale, ophthalmic equipment and Ophthalmology. Wes is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. When he's not involved in the optical world, Wes enjoys spending time with friends and family and traveling.
Navid Vahidi, MD, PhD, FACS
Board-Certified Ophthalmologist
Dr. Vahidi emigrated to the United States at age 16 and became a naturalized United States citizen in 1989. He finished high school in Los Angeles and received his Bachelor of Science Degrees in Chemistry and Biology from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His Medical Education was combined with a doctoral program in Biophysics at the University of Illinois where he received his M.D. and Ph.D. He completed his internship in general surgery at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). His ophthalmology training was completed at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Dr. Vahidi is a Board Certified Eye Surgeon with extensive experience in a broad spectrum of medical and surgical eye-related problems. He is on staff at Florida Hospital and Orlando Regional Health System. Dr. Vahidi is fluent in Farsi and English. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, and playing tennis and golf.
